GTECHNIQ CERAMIC COATINGS
What is Gtechniq?
Gtechniq was founded by quantum physicist Drew Gill in 2001, out of total dissatisfaction with the performance of paint protection products at the time.
Everything from waxes, to new-fangled polymers and PTFE-based miracle treatments, nothing on the market offered any meaningful durability, either in looks, or protection. Worse still, he found that most of the products actually performed poorer than the paints they were supposed to protect.
From this discontent came a simple idea, ‘To engineer the world’s most beautiful, perfectly finished, smartest and most intelligent surfaces. Surfaces that do much more than simply look great when new’
Drew’s background meant that he had a good understanding of how the forces, shapes and structures of a surface works on very small scales.
He also knew what modifications may be possible in order to add some really useful enhancements. Improvements such as dirt repellency, ease of washing, swirl, UV and stain resistance, along with, long-term gloss and color stability
Is a Gtechniq coating the right choice for you?
At The Final Detail, we believe every vehicle on the road should be ceramic coated. The reality is, not everyone cares enough about their vehicle to ceramic coat it. If you are someone who enjoys washing and waxing their vehicle on the weekends or your just someone who likes a clean, protected vehicle, then a Gtechniq ceramic coating is for you.
Gtechniq ceramic coatings offer incredible gloss and protection from the elements. Ceramic coatings form a hard, durable, extremely hydrophobic layer of protection on your vehicle’s paint, glass and wheels.
crystal serum light
When it comes to adding gloss, resisting swirls, contaminant and dirt repellency, Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light is the pinnacle in paint protection. Serum Light forms an ultra-durable, high-gloss, slick to the touch, chemically bonding inorganic layer of 9h optically clear ceramic.
Once applied, gloss levels will remain in the upper 90th percentile for significantly longer when compared to traditional paint protection products, and cleaning your car will be a breeze. The high-density ceramic layer is resistant to chemicals ranging from pH2 – pH12. This characteristic also makes bonded contaminants such as tree sap, tar, and hard water spots, easy to remove.
Unlike mainstream wax and organic polymer coatings, Serum and Serum Light can resist much higher and lower temperatures. They resist temperatures as low as -40°c to as high as +250°c.

exov5
EXOv5 delivers a hard film that makes water-spots easy to remove, offers great resistance to all wash chemicals and can help withstand micro-marring. It produces a high-gloss, warm-looking, extreme hydrophobic finish.
It has a consistent film that is more durable and resistant to road salt and washes chemicals than its predecessors.
All of the above combined with the introduction of a good degree of swirl resistance means EXOv5 represents a major leap forward in Last Surface Protection (LSP) technology.
Gtechniq EXOv5 can be used as a standalone coating or as a topper for Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light.
Prices starting at
Small – $280
Mid size – $320
Full size – $360
Up to 2 years of protection
(Gtechniq EXO V5 prices do not include exterior detailing or paint correction. Gtechniq EXO V5 is an add on to an exterior detail service)
halo
HALO enhances the performance of Paint Protection Film (PPF) and vinyl. It’s a chemically bonding, ultra-dense flexible film that becomes the permanent surface of the film – protecting it from the elements a car faces on a daily basis.
The density of the coating and its low surface energy improve dirt and water repellency of PPF or vinyl. It also helps to prevent staining from dirt ingression, as well as reducing yellowing caused by UV rays.
Overall, HALO keeps the PPF looking in a much better condition and makes it much easier for people to keep their car clean following PPF/ vinyl application.
Rigorous real-world and laboratory testing has proven HALO to be compatible with all types of gloss, matte, and satin vinyl and PPF. It is also proven to work on self-healing films.
